I turned to Jen when I was in the throes of a health crisis, desperate for relief. In truth, I had expected to get some nutrition counseling and move on. What I got instead was life-changing wisdom that not only guided me through the process of looking at how I want to age, but gave me the permission I craved to really rethink my soon-to-be empty nester life.
Over the weeks with Jen, I rethought my entire relationship with food, lost 15 lbs, picked up a new exercise routine, started writing again, and learned how to use meditation to regulate my emotions. As a side benefit, the new energy I gained and the confidence in my body inspired more romance and intimacy with my husband. I cannot stress enough how I had gone from tired, stressed, and “old” to energized, excited, peaceful, and “young.” The money I invested in myself and my health is money I will never regret. In fact, it might be the most important money I’ve ever spent.
I am so grateful to Jen for her guidance and friendship; it meant the world to me to have her peaceful presence guiding me through huge life changes.

My first session with Jen provided one “Ah Ha Moment” after another. She helped me see the possibilities of living a life on purpose, what I could accomplish, who I could be, and things that, I felt, were holding me back. Twelve sessions later I am organized, exercising with intention, eating well and feeling great. I’ve lost 10 pounds in the process but more importantly I am enjoying my life and family more than ever before. With the tools and support Jen provided, I feel equipped to take on the bumps in the road that life will inevitably throw my way. Jen is much more than a nutrition guru. She possesses an incredible ability to guide you through an introspective journey, helping you identify the issues holding you back from achieving your health and well-being goals. I went from struggling with anxiety and symptoms of perimenopause to feeling happier, more energetic, and calm. I transitioned from a state of constant self-criticism to one of grace and patience, embracing the stage of life I'm in. Moving away from a fight-or-flight mindset and implementing the small daily changes Jen suggested helped me become a much better version of myself—one that is intentional, present, and content. My journey with Jen was a wakeup call. Before working with Jen, I felt like I was living my life just going through the motions and trying to get things done for EVERYONE else. I now have never felt more calm and at peace with MYSELF and I'm enjoying more time and patience with my family. After just 3 sessions with Jen, my 'crazies' and 'anxieties' are very manageable. I’ve increased my awareness around food and become more aware of my relationship with food, resulting in making healthier food choices. I’ve lost 8 lbs. even through the holiday season! This journey has been so empowering to me at a whole different level, emotionally and physically. I feel more present in my life with my family, friends, work, and especially with my girls. The health and spiritual journey I took with Jen has truly impacted my life. I went in to the program expecting to only get information on eating right, but came out of it learning so much more. Jen holds a vision for you, and with baby steps and support, you are able to meet and reach your goals. Jen – I signed up for coaching with you because I wanted you to give me a menu of what I should eat so I could lose weight. So basically, a quick fix because I thought feeling skinnier would fix everything. What I found instead was that I NEVER put myself first, didn’t really know what I wanted, or even liked. It only took a couple of sessions with you to realize I wasn’t living MY own life. I was busy being a wife, mom, friend, volunteer. I never had a voice for myself or put myself first. I have learned to take care of myself and prioritize how I spend my time for ME. I joined a book club because I love to read. I put workouts ahead of most everything for my health and I continue to find and do things that I enjoy. I would have NOT made this transition had I not worked with you. I truly appreciate the guidance and insight you have given me. It has truly changed my life!

Since working with Jen, I’ve experienced a mental shift that has had a profound impact in my health and the way I feel about myself. I feel lighter, have more energy, and sleep better. I no longer let myself get stressed out and feel much more calmed and balanced. I’ve changed from emotional eating and drinking, at times, to making conscious healthy choices that nourish me without feeling deprived or succumbing to social pressure. For the past year, I had a migraine every single day and felt hopeless as to what could be wrong. Jen has transformed my life. I've learned to honor myself and be more patient and present in life's precious moments. She has encouraged me to make lifestyle choices from food, movement, and relationships. I was introduced to Jen during a definite stressful crossroad in my life and really needed help in determining a path forward. I could not have predicted just how much of an impact Jen would have! Since working with Jen, I no longer have arthritis pain and I used to wake up at least twice per night. I am now sleeping 8 hours straight and waking up feeling energized! I feel so healthy and no longer stressed out. I’ve learned how I eat is more important than what I eat. I’m more present at work and no longer taking mental exits. I feel more in tuned with my body, I’ve lost weight and gained upper body strength. I am more positive, more confident, and feeling more creative. As more of a shy introverted person, for the first time in my life I’ve been open and comfortable in exploring new things and adventures.

I was introduced to Jen by a mutual friend. I felt overall pretty healthy with my diet and exercising regularly. The one aspect I was really missing was having anxiety and not having control over my thoughts and outlook on life. Jen was a savior!
